π‘ Summary:
Currently, Confluence does not support enabling or disabling emoji reactions on a per-space or per-content-type basis. The setting applies globally across the entire instance.
βοΈ Current Behavior
- The reactions setting is available only at the global level:
Path: Settings β Configuration β General configuration β Likes/Reactions
- Enabling or disabling reactions affects all spaces and all content types (pages, blog posts, comments) across the entire site.
- There is no built-in option to restrict or manage emoji reactions for:
-
- A single space
-
- A group of spaces
-
- Specific content types
π Expected Behavior (Customer Request)
- Granular Control per Space:
Administrators should be able to enable or disable emoji reactions for individual spaces as needed.
- Control per Content Type:
Administrators should be able to configure emoji reactions to apply only to certain content types β for example, enabling them for blog posts but not for pages.
