Currently, users with the collaborator role in Confluence can reorder pages within the space tree. While this offers flexibility, it can lead to unintentional changes that disrupt the intended structure and navigation.
To improve content management and maintain a consistent page hierarchy, it would be beneficial to introduce a permission setting that restricts page reordering to specific roles, such as space admins or managers. This enhancement would help ensure that only designated users can modify the page order, maintaining clarity and organization across the space.
Implementing this feature would greatly assist teams in preserving the integrity of their content structure, reducing confusion, and improving overall user experience.
