Issue Summary
Confluence PDF export are not exporting content in the expected size for some elements.
For example, if you have a third party diagram macro, it does not export the content as it looks like in the page's view and size: draw.io and mermaid diagram macros diagrams
The image diagram either gets distorted or smaller in comparison to what is looks in the page, regardless of the page width, and the macro width and there are no more options to change the size.
For text elements, the code </>, that can be accessed from the top toolbar, by clicking on the italic button, when added to the page, are much bigger in the export than they appear as added in the page, looking like a heading in comparison to the normal text, and bigger than the headings as well.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Confluence page
- Add a heading 2 and text
- Add a code </> by clicking on the top toolbar, on the italic button
- Add text to the code </> next to a normal text
- Add text to another code </> next to a heading
- Add a mermaid diagram to the page
- Publish the page
- Export page to PDF by going to the page menu ... > Advanced details > Export to PDF
Expected Results
All content in the page is exported with the size seen in the page published.
Actual Results
Text inside the code text is bigger than normal and heading text in the PDF. Mermaid/Draw.io are smaller than it looks in the page.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
