Issue Summary
Add event notifications are not generated when an event is added from a page where a Teams calendar is embedded. This affects sites where the Notify watchers via Email option is enabled while adding events directly to Calendars.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Teams calendar and start watching it.
- Add an event directly to the Calendar and verify "Notify watchers via Email" option is available.
- Embed the calendar in a Confluence page.
- Now, add an event from the page and verify the notification for event add. There is no option to "Notify watchers via Email".
Expected Results
Watchers should be notified when an event is added from the page with the embedded calendar.
Actual Results
No notification is generated for event add in such scenario
Workaround
Add an event directly to the Calendar and ensure to check the "Notify watchers via Email" option.
