Ensure Consistent Visibility for Completed Events in Confluence Calendar Across All Environments

      Problem

In the current setup, when events are imported from Jira into the Confluence Calendar, there is a discrepancy in visibility based on the hosting environment. Specifically, in an on-premises environment, closed issues and past sprints are visually distinguished by being grayed out, indicating their completion. However, this visual cue is absent in the Confluence Cloud environment, leading to inconsistency in user experience.

      Suggested Solution

Implement a feature in Confluence Cloud Calendar that visually distinguishes completed events by graying them out, similar to the on-premises experience. This will help maintain a consistent user interface across different hosting environments.

      Why This Is Important

Providing a consistent user experience across different environments is crucial for usability. It enhances visibility of completed tasks and establishes a uniform pattern across our products, thereby reducing confusion and improving efficiency for users who work across both platforms.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this issue. Any available workaround will be documented here as soon as it is identified.
