      Summary:
Request to restore or introduce the ability to add custom prefixes and suffixes to number fields in Confluence Databases, enabling teams to display units, symbols, or contextual information alongside numeric values.

      Problem Statement:
With the recent update to number field formatting in Confluence Databases, the options for custom prefixes and suffixes were removed. This has impacted teams who relied on these features to provide clarity and context for their data (e.g., units like “kg”, “hours”, or custom symbols). The lack of this functionality reduces the expressiveness and usability of number fields for a variety of use cases.
