Issue Summary

When a task (action item) is completed, the date is expected to be gray, even if this is showing a past date in the task.

Incomplete task's dates show as red as expected.

When we click on the task to complete it in the view mode, even if it is past due, the color for the date goes from red to gray, but after a reload or going to a page and back to the page, the date is red again.

This does not happen on the edit mode, the date for completed tasks are showing gray as expected.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a page
2. Add a task (action item)
3. Add a date (for example, yesterday and another for today)
4. Publish the page
5. On View/published mode, click on the checkboxes to complete the tasks
6. After a few seconds, reload the page - notice yesterday's task is red
7. Click edit page
8. Check tasks's colors

Expected Results

Completed tasks are showing gray color for the date on both view and edit mode.

Actual Results

In view mode, the task is on red and "yesterday" instead of the date "month day, year" (e.g: Aug 20, 2025) -  giving the impression the task is incomplete, and in edit mode it is showing the expected behavior, showing the completed task as gray and with month day, year.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
