Currently, when configuring a Number field with currency formatting in Jira, only a limited set of currencies are available:

      • US Dollar (USD)
      • British Pound (GBP)
      • Euro (EUR)
      • Japanese Yen (JPY)
      • Australian Dollar (AUD)

      Expected Result:
Admins should be able to select from a broader range of global currencies when configuring a Number field as a currency.

      Actual Result:
With recent updates to Confluence Databases, number fields now support only standardized formats: Number, Percent, and Currency. This change removed the ability to select or display a wider range of currencies and limited how currency values are presented.
Only five currencies are currently available, limiting the usefulness of this feature for international teams.

      Suggested Solution:

      • Allow admins to define custom currencies or request additional ones as needed.
      • Allow admins to define non-decimal currencies.
