Summary:
Enhance the current content management capabilities in Confluence by introducing a site-level content manager for site administrators.
Currently, content management in Confluence is limited to each space's settings, as outlined in the public KB article "https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/manage-your-content-tree/". It would be beneficial to have a centralized content management hub at the site level. This feature would allow site administrators to efficiently manage content across multiple spaces, streamlining their workflow and improving overall site management.
Proposed features:
- Centralized Content Hub: Create a site-level content manager where site administrators can access and manage content across all spaces they have visibility on.
- Space filtering: Enable filtering options to sort and manage content by specific spaces.
- Bulk actions: Allow site admins to perform bulk actions such as moving, archiving, or deleting multiple pages simultaneously.
- Export functionality: Provide the ability to export a list of pages from selected spaces for reporting and analysis purposes.
Benefits:
- Improved efficiency for site administrators managing large Confluence instances.
- Simplified content management processes across multiple spaces.
- Enhanced reporting capabilities with export options.
