• The customer receives an email notification about the pending update.

• The customer decides not to update the app (e.g., due to budget, policy, or feature changes).

• Despite this decision, the customer continues to receive repeated email notifications about the pending update, with no way to mute or opt out of these alerts for that specific app.

Suggested Solution

• Mute Option: Add a "Mute notifications for this app" link or button in the email and/or within the Atlassian admin interface for Marketplace apps.

• Exclusion List: Allow admins to maintain a list of apps for which update notifications are suppressed.

• Reversal: Provide a way to unmute or re-enable notifications if the admin changes their mind.
