In the legacy V1 PDF export, the generated PDF included a left-hand Document Outline panel that visually represented the Confluence page hierarchy. This allowed for intuitive navigation using nested bookmarks that reflected the parent-child page structure.

Issue with V2 Export:
The new V2 PDF export removes this hierarchical structure and instead generates a flat, linear document, regardless of the actual page organization in Confluence. This makes it significantly harder to understand and navigate complex documentation, handbooks, or project wikis at a glance.

Impact:

• Loss of structural clarity in exported documents

• Reduced usability for readers, especially for large or nested content

• Inconsistent experience compared to previous exports
