Issue Summary
Users with permission to add comments can successfully add comments on attachments uploaded via the Attachments Macro. However, if a user attempts to delete a comment they added to an attachment (using the "Drag this pin to add a comment" feature), the delete option does not work, and no action occurs.
Steps to Reproduce
- Use the Attachments Macro to upload an attachment (e.g., a PDF or image) to a Confluence page.
- Ensure the user has permission to add comments on the page and the attachment.
- View the uploaded attachment via the Attachments Macro.
- Add a comment by dragging a pin and entering a comment using the "Drag this pin to add a comment" functionality (as described here).
- Attempt to delete the comment by clicking on the ... (three dots) menu next to the pin and selecting "Delete."
Expected Results
The comment should be successfully deleted after clicking on "Delete."
Actual Results
Clicking on "Delete" does not perform any action. The comment remains visible, and the delete functionality does not work.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour.
