Detailed Problem Statement:
The issue at hand involves a discrepancy in date formats between a Confluence page and its corresponding Smartlink embed, even when both are set to the same language settings.
This inconsistency is primarily due to the cross-domain nature of Smartlink embeds. When Confluence content is embedded as a Smartlink, it is encapsulated within an iframe wrapper, which constitutes a cross-domain interaction.
This setup can result in the embedded content not fully inheriting the parent page's settings, such as date formats, due to the cross-domain context.
Furthermore, the Smartlink embed feature is designed to facilitate the integration of content across various Atlassian products.
Each of these products may have its own default settings and configurations, which could potentially affect how content, including date formats, is displayed.
Suggestion:
The objective is to identify and implement a solution that ensures consistency in date formats between Confluence pages and their Smartlink embeds.
This solution should address the cross-domain interaction challenges and account for the default settings and configurations of different Atlassian products to provide a smooth and uniform user experience.
