Problem

A recent design change has removed the Allow tag creation checkbox from the Confluence Database tag field settings; users can now create new tags by default. However, there is now no option to disable new tag creation for users.

Suggested solution

Restore the ability to disable new tag creation in the field settings, Space Settings, or Confluence Administration.

Why this is important

Having the option to only pull from a restricted, pre-defined list of tags aids in preventing classification errors brought on by user misspellings and typos.
