Issue Summary
When the New Navigation is enabled on a Confluence site, clicking on a link in order to redirect to an anchor link on a given page does nothing and silently fails.
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure the Confluence site being tested on has the New Navigation feature initially disabled.
- On a Confluence page, create an anchor link of the page. Capitalize the anchor link (e.g. "Top").
- Near the bottom of the same page, create a link to that anchor link macro where the anchor is all lowercase (e.g. "#top") and call it Back to Top - update the page.
- Go to Confluence administration > Settings > Configuration > New features, and toggle on New navigation.
- Return to the page where the anchor link was created, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on your Back to Top link.
Expected Results
Clicking on the link should take you back to the top of the page.
Actual Results
Nothing happens when the link is clicked.
Workaround
Disable the New Navigation feature, and the anchor links work as expected.
