Problem
Currently, when a user selects a parent page in Content Manager in Confluence, all sub-pages are automatically selected for actions such as deletion.
This can lead to unintended deletions, especially when the intent is to modify or delete only specific sub-pages, not the parent or all its sub-pages.
Suggested Solution
Implement a feature that allows users to deselect sub-pages individually after selecting a parent page.
Additionally, if any sub-page is deselected, the parent page should be automatically deselected to prevent its deletion if the sub-pages are not intended for deletion.
Why This Is Important
This enhancement is crucial to prevent accidental data loss and improve user control over page management. By allowing more granular selection, users can confidently manage their content without the risk of deleting valuable parent pages or unintended sub-pages.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
