      Issue Summary

A customer is experiencing an issue in Confluence where links copied from Excel into a table are not consistently converting into 2-way links with Jira issues. This automatic conversion works when a new table is created, but if an existing table is modified, the links remain as plain text. This inconsistency is problematic as the tables are typically standard templates that are filled in.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Created a new page in Confluence
      2. Added a table within the page and added the URL for the Jira issues within the table in rows.
      3. Selected the entire table, including the hyperlinks, and copy it (Ctrl+C or Command+C).
      4. Pasted the copied table on the page.
      5. Observed that the links are automatically converted into smart links.
      6. On the same Confluence page, create or use an existing table.
      7. Copy and Paste into an Existing Confluence Table.
      8. Observed that the links remain as plain links and are not converted into smart links.

      Expected Results

The copied link within the existing table should be converted to smart link

      Actual Results

The links remain as plain links and are not converted into smart links.
