Problem Definition
Currently there is no native integration between OpsGenie / JSM Schedules and Confluence.
It would be helpful to embed Schedules on Confluence pages, either via Smart Links or native Macros.
Suggested Solution
Add support to OpsGenie / JSM Schedules via Smart Links or native Macros.
Workaround
It is possible to display a Schedule's events in Confluence by using Team Calendars.
Steps:
- Navigate to Who is on-call in OpsGenie
- Click one of the schedules
- Click Open Calendar and copy the link - it should look like this:
webcal://atlassian.app.opsgenie.com/webapi/webcal/getRecentSchedule?webcalToken=<value>&scheduleId=<value> - Navigate to a Space in Confluence and click on Calendars
- Click the Plus '+' icon next to Calendar and select Subscribe by URL
- Paste the link copied earlier but change 'webcal' to 'https':
https://atlassian.app.opsgenie.com/webapi/webcal/getRecentSchedule?webcalToken=<value>&scheduleId=<value> - Give the calendar a name and click Subscribe
- Create a new page and add a Team Calendars macro
- Type the calendar name and select the calendar that was created
- Lastly, publish the page
