Issue Summary
When setting up a custom domain for Confluence, third-party links that use the old URL do not automatically redirect to the new custom domain URL. This issue may cause confusion and hinder users from accessing the correct content.
Affected apps:
Steps to Reproduce
- Install the an app that relies on URLs to work (e.g. Simply Forms).
- Create a form and save the link.
- Set up a custom domain for your Confluence instance.
- Try to access the link that uses the old URL.
Expected Results
The link using the old Confluence URL should automatically redirect to the corresponding page on the new custom domain URL.
Actual Results
The link does not redirect, and users are not taken to the correct page on the custom domain.
Workaround
Manually fix the links by changing the old base URL for the new one.
