Problem Definition
When a Confluence Automation rule is created, the author is assigned as Actor by default and can only be changed to a different user by an Admin as explained on What is a rule actor?.
This means that the Author will always be registered as the user who executed the automation rule, regardless of which user has triggered it.
As of today, Confluence Automation does not offer a 'User who triggered the event' value as Author, which does exist in Jira Automation.
Suggested Solution
Implement a 'User who triggered the event' as an Actor in Confluence Automation.
