Ability to remove the Assignee field from the 'Create a Jira Issue' action on a Sticky Note in Confluence Whiteboards

      Problem

      Currently, if the Assignee field is intentionally removed from the Create screen in Jira, it is possible to verify that it will remain present when using the Create a Jira Issue Action in a Sticky Note in Confluence Whiteboards.

      • In this scenario, if a user attempts to create the Jira issue from a Sticky Note and set an Assignee, they will receive an error.

      Suggested Solution

      This use case would be addressed if, when removing the Assignee field from the Create screen in Jira, it also was removed from the Create a Jira Issue Action from Sticky Notes.

      Workaround

      Currently, there are no possible workarounds for this use case.
