Updating/publishing any page in Confluence appends the "?force_transition" query param in URL

      Issue Summary

      • When a page in Confluence is edited and published/updated, the query parameter below is added in the URL for the page.
        • ?force_transition=<UNIQUE_ID>

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Visit any page in Confluence.
        • https://<SITE-NAME>.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<SPACE-KEY>/pages/<content-id>/title
      2. Edit and update the page.
      3. Notice the URL in page view has the query appended.
        • https://<SITE-NAME>.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<SPACE-KEY>/pages/<content-id>/title?force_transition=<UNIQUE_ID>

      Expected Results

      • Page view URL should be as it was before the page was edited.

      Actual Results

      • A query parameter is added after edit

      Workaround

      • Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
