Problem
When exporting a Confluence Whiteboard that contains hyperlinks to a PDF, the hyperlinks become inaccessible—they are not clickable.
- Additionally, the exported PDF lacks OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities, preventing text selection and copying.

This significantly hinders the usability of exported whiteboard content, especially for users who need to share or archive their work with embedded links.
Suggested Solution
Implement functionality in the PDF export process to maintain hyperlink accessibility.
- Additionally, enable OCR in the export to allow text selection and copying, ensuring users can interact with and utilize text-based content effectively.

Why This Is Important
The inability to access hyperlinks in exported PDFs limits the collaborative and interactive potential of Confluence Whiteboards.
Users rely on this feature for seamless information sharing and documentation, particularly when needing to distribute content externally. Without this capability, the adoption of whiteboards is compromised, as users are unable to fully leverage its features in exported formats.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
