Summary of the Feature Request

Confluence provides an option to define date formatting in General Settings, allowing users to customize how dates appear across the platform. However, this setting does not apply to Team Calendars, meaning users are unable to customize the date format when adding or viewing events in their calendars.

This feature request proposes extending the date formatting settings to Team Calendars, so users can maintain consistent date formats across Confluence, improving usability and reducing confusion.

Suggestion for Implementation

• Extend the existing ** date format settings in General Configuration to Team Calendars.
• Allow ** users/admins to define a custom date format that applies when:
  • Adding a new event to a Team Calendar
  • Viewing events in the calendar UI
  • Editing existing events
