Summary:
Currently, in Confluence Database, the "Calculate" options (Sum, Average, Min, Max, etc.) are displayed horizontally at the bottom of the table. While this works for some users, it can become inconvenient, especially for large datasets where users need to scroll down to access the calculations.
This feature request proposes an option to display calculations vertically on the right side of the table, allowing users to view summary values without excessive scrolling.
Impact of the Feature
- Better Usability – Users can view calculations without losing context when scrolling through large tables.
- Increased Efficiency – Reduces the time spent navigating to the bottom of tables to check totals.
- Customizable User Experience – Allows users to choose between horizontal (default) and vertical (new) calculation placements based on their preference.
Suggestion for Implementation
- Introduce a toggle setting in the table configuration to switch between horizontal (bottom) and vertical (right side) calculation display.
