Issue Summary
The Charts Macro currently supports only integer and decimal numbers as valid chart data. When users attempt to use the Charts Macro with a table that includes the Jira Issues ticket count macro, the ticket count does not appear on the chart. This is because the count is accompanied by the text "Issues," which prevents the Charts Macro from representing the data.
Steps to Reproduce
- Insert a Table: Begin by creating a table in a Confluence page.
- Add a Jira Issues Macro: Within one of the table cells, insert a Jira Issues macro and configure it to display the total count of issues that match your JQL query.
- Create a Chart: Next, establish a chart that is linked to the table. For detailed instructions on how to do this, refer to the Charts and connected data documentation.
Expected Results
The expectation is that the count of Jira issues should be displayed in the chart.
Actual Results
However, it is currently not represented due to the presence of the word "Issues" next to the count.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
