Issue Summary
Links from the Confluence page's Copy link button (Next to the Share button) are not turning into Smart links, and the problem is probably related to the new URL format with the altOrigin parameter.
Example of URL from the Copy link button:
https://hello.atlassian.net/wiki/x/l4B9JgE?atlOrigin=eyJpIjoiNDZkZTU3MmYzMjcyNDY0MTk1YzVlOWU1YzYyMTEyZmMiLCJwIjoiYyJ9
Steps to Reproduce
- Get a link from the Link button next to Share button within a Confluence page.
- Paste the link onto another page.
The smart link won't be generated.
Expected Results
Upon pasting the Confluence page's Copy link button (Next to the Share button), a Smart link should be generated.
Actual Results
Upon pasting the Confluence page's Copy link button (Next to the Share button), a Smart link is not being generated.
Workaround
The link generated from the Copy link button must be pasted into the browser address bar. After the address is resolved, copy it again and then paste it onto the Confluence page. This will generate the smart link.

I hope this is prioritized as a defect for whatever release included adding the altOrigin parameter to the link copied from the Share dialog. We find it is really handy to just click Share -> Copy Link instead of using the address bar as the share link is much shorter.
I am a bit surprised that this was not found during QA testing when the new parameter was added to the share link.
