In Confluence spaces, users can change the Page Tree view to an alphabetical option, which rearranges the pages in alphabetical order.
However, it's important to note that once selected, the page tree view does not display folders, which means that when the page tree is set to alphabetical, the folders become hidden.
The purpose of ordering pages alphabetically is to promote order and consistency for page tree structure and organization. Ideally, the alphabetical ordering shouldn't exclude folders, allowing them to be displayed in alphabetical order as well.
