Issue Summary
The Confluence Cloud Database feature is experiencing an issue where content fails to load successfully even after an extended wait time. When users attempt to connect a database to Confluence and search for a keyword, the system sometimes displays a result count but does not consistently do so. Upon clicking "Insert," the process remains stuck on "Currently connecting" indefinitely, preventing users from accessing the desired content.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new Database in Confluence Cloud.
- Navigate to the Database setup menu on the right and select Connect → Confluence.
- A new pop-up appears; enter any keyword (e.g., "test").
- The system should fetch a list of matching results. However, the count may not always display (e.g., in testing, it showed 445 only once across multiple attempts in Chrome and Mozilla).
- Click Insert to add the content.
- The message "Currently connecting. Keep this tab open until finished. Cancel connection" appears, but the content never loads
Expected Results
- The keyword search should consistently return and display the correct result count.
- Clicking Insert should successfully fetch and load the selected content within a reasonable time.
Actual Results
- The result count is inconsistent and does not always display.
- Clicking Insert causes the system to remain on the "Currently connecting" message indefinitely.
- Content never loads, blocking users from completing their workflow.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
