It is possible to embedded links into Confluence pages using the Smart links and option like display as "Card".

One great example is the Jira issues that can be added to a Confluence page this way, however it would be great to increase the limit to display more characters in the Card embed option, to display more of the Jira issue description there or a "button" to expand the full description
