Supporting Ancestor Function in CQL for Non-Page Content

XMLWordPrintable

      Problem

Currently, the CQL (Confluence Query Language) option does not support the Ancestor function for non-page content types such as whiteboards, databases, embeds, and folders.

This limitation affects the ability to automate and script actions related to these new types of content.

      Suggested Solution

Support for the Ancestor function in CQL should be extended to include non-page content types such as whiteboards, databases, embeds, and folders.

      Why This Is Important

The lack of support for the Ancestor function in CQL for non-page content limits users' ability to effectively automate and script processes involving these content types.

This feature is crucial for improving workflow efficiency and content management in Confluence.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
