Description

Currently, Confluence Cloud allows viewing of Excel files shared via Smart Links, but does not support editing these files directly within Confluence. Customers request the ability to edit OneDrive-hosted Excel files embedded through Smart Links.

Suggested features

Allow users to open and edit OneDrive-hosted Excel files directly from Confluence pages through Smart Links.
Support saving changes made to the Excel file directly back to OneDrive.
Retain existing permissions and formulas in the Excel file during editing.

Expected outcome

Users can seamlessly view and edit complex Excel files with formulas without leaving the Confluence interface.
Enhances collaboration by enabling teams to work on shared Excel documents within Confluence, reducing the need to switch between tools.
