Allow users to bypass permissions checks for the 'Include Page' macro. This functionality would enable more flexible content integration across spaces while considering appropriate safeguards to maintain security and access control standards.
Problem Definition
Currently, if a user wants to be able to include a page from a space (Space A) with restrictions to a space (Space B) that doesn't have the same restrictions, only those users with permissions to Space A will see the content, all other users will see a message that the macro is unable to render.
Suggested Solution
Knowing that too drastic of a change could cause security issues, maybe add the ability for a space or site admin to waive permission checks on a case by case basis in the macro itself (a toggle or checkbox should do the trick).
Workaround
Copy the page into a space that has fewer restrictions, and then include that page.
