Description
Currently, the PDF Macro in Confluence Cloud supports vertical scrolling for PDF navigation but no longer allows users to navigate pages horizontally using left/right arrows. Additionally, the PDF Macro layout offers limited size adjustment with only three predefined options, and the vertical dimensions cannot be freely customized by the user.
Suggested Features
- Horizontal Page Navigation: Reintroduce the ability to navigate through PDF pages horizontally using left/right arrows, without requiring the user to enter full-screen mode.
- Customizable Vertical Layout: Enable users to freely adjust the vertical dimensions of the PDF Macro, allowing for better alignment with varying content requirements.
Expected Outcome
- Users can view and navigate PDF files one page at a time horizontally, improving accessibility and usability for those accustomed to this navigation style.
- Users can customize the vertical size of the PDF Macro, offering greater flexibility in integrating PDF content seamlessly into Confluence pages.
These enhancements will align the PDF Macro's functionality with user expectations and previous behavior, improving the overall user experience for customers managing PDF content in Confluence Cloud.
