Problem
When attempting to rename the "Title column heading" in the page properties report macro on Confluence Cloud, the modal configuration freezes or becomes unresponsive. This issue also affects the "Page Properties ID" and "Columns to show" options.
Environment
Confluence Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a Confluence page and add the page properties report macro.
- Attempt to change the "Title column heading" option to any desired text.
- Observe the modal configuration for the macro.
Expected Results
The "Title column heading" should be renamed successfully, and the modal configuration should remain responsive, allowing further modifications.
Actual Results
The modal configuration freezes or becomes greyed out, preventing any changes to the macro.
Workaround
The workaround is described below
Notes
- This issue also affects other options within the macro configuration, such as "Page Properties ID" and "Columns to show."
- However, this happens because there's as a missing label in the first configuration option.
When editing a PPR macro, it’s necessary to 'add a label' value before saving changes.
- However, it does highlight the need for a more user-friendly approach, as it can be confusing not to receive an error message when clicking refresh or save.
