Issue Summary

Confluence pages intermittently perform very poorly wether in view mode or in edit mode.

Sometimes, a page may take a full minute to load and in edit mode, users are sometimes seeing an error stating "we've lost connection".

In the HAR file, we can see very long response times and TTFB which suggests that the server is taking a while to process the request:

Some users have reported this to be more prominent on Firefox but it still happens on Chrome

Expected Results

The page loads normally

Actual Results

The page sometimes takes a long time to load or sometimes not load at all

Steps to Reproduce

The issue happens intermittently but it happens on all sorts of pages in view and edit mode.

Workaround

• Refresh the page
