Issue Summary

Within “Getting started in Confluence“ screen, the inline comments are not available for screen reader users.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the latest version of “Confluence” app on iOS device.
2. Navigate to “Spaces” tab and activate it.
3. Now, navigate to the “Content” tab and activate it.
4. Navigate onto “Getting started in Confluence“ button and activate it.
5. Now, navigate onto the “Getting started in Confluence“ screen using VoiceOver.
6. Navigate to “Comments“ button and add inline comments.
7. Observe that the inline comments are not available to VoiceOver users.

Actual Results

The inline content such as “Test” (that becomes available on activating “Comments” button > “Save” button) is not identified and announced by the screen reader.
As a result, screen reader users cannot access the mentioned content.
When the content is not available for screen reader users, they cannot access the information conveyed by the content.

Expected Results

For Native App :

Apply the following changes:

Ensure that "isAccessibilityEnabled" property is set to "Yes" for the mentioned content to ensure that the content is available for screen reader users.

Add hidden text such as “Actions available double tap to activate” before the mentioned content in the code.

For Hybrid App :

Make sure that all the functionalities available for screen reader users too.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
