Issue Summary
The new assets macro in Confluence Cloud does not properly render rich text format and instead displays content as raw HTML. This issue does not occur on the Jira Service Management side, where the assets are displayed correctly. The problem arises when using the Assets macro on a Confluence page.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to a page where you want to use the Assets macro.
- Insert the Assets macro on the page.
- Link the macro to an asset that includes rich text formatting.
- Save and publish the Confluence page.
Expected Results
The assets macro should display the content with proper rich text formatting (e.g., bold, italic, lists) on the Confluence page.
Actual Results
The assets macro displays the content as raw HTML code instead of rendering it with rich text formatting.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround to display the assets with rich text formatting directly in Confluence. Users may need to manually adjust the content or use plain text until the issue is resolved.
