Issue Summary
CONFCLOUD-80110causes pages that are created using legacy templates to throw an error.- While it appears that the page is not created, a blank entry is created in the database, linked to the parent page.
- This causes the parent page to not be deletable.
Steps to Reproduce
- On an existing page in Confluence, create a new page using a legacy template with variables;
- Reproducing the issue from

- Reproducing the issue from
- Attempt to delete the page that you were on when creating the page above (parent page)
- You'll hit into this error saying that the page could not be deleted.
- Archiving the page doesn't work as well.
Expected Results
- The failed page creation from
CONFCLOUD-80110should not cause ghost/blank drafts to be created in the database. - And the parent page should not be affected by the bug above.
Actual Results
CONFCLOUD-80110creates blank entries in the database.- Causing the parent page to not be deletable/archivable.
Workaround
- Re-order the parent page from the Space settings to be outside of the main page tree.
