Issue Summary
When using Jira fields with wiki rendering to create tables that include merged cells, these tables are not displayed on Confluence pages. This issue is observed when using both the Jira Legacy macro and the new Jira Issues macro on Confluence.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom field (multi-line) in Jira. E.g: Paragraph
- Add the custom field to the project's screen
- At Project settings> Issues > Fields > Actions > Edit fields find the custom field name
- Enable the Renderer and Confirm to use the Wiki Style Renderer
- Once saved, go back to the Jira issue in Jira
- Create an issue, edit the custom field
- Add a table, fill some text
- Select 2 cells and hit the Cell options dropdown menu
- Select Merge Cells
- On Confluence, create a page using the new Fabric Editor
- Add Jira Issues Macro and select the issue created
- Add the custom field on the displayed columns, publish
- Publish the page
Expected Results
The table should be visible on Confluence Page and equal to the way it is presented on Jira
Actual Results
The table is not visible
Workaround
- Edit the table on the custom field;
- Select the merged cell;
- Hit the "Cell Options" dropdown menu and select split cells;
- Save
- Once refreshing Confluence Page, the table should be visible now.
