XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

Keyboard users are unable to navigate to any options located below the 'Export' option in the meatballs (three-dot) menu within the renderer. This issue restricts keyboard-only users from accessing additional functionalities, severely impacting accessibility and user experience.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open Confluence Cloud
      2. Navigate to any page rendered in the editor or viewer (renderer).
      3. Press the Tab key multiple times until the focus reaches the meatballs menu (three-dot menu) located at the top-right corner of the page or wherever the menu is situated.
      4. With the focus on the meatballs menu, press the Down Arrow key multiple times to try to move focus to options below the 'Export' option in the menu.
      5. Observe that the focus is stuck on the Export option, and no further navigation is possible to options below it.

      Actual Results

When pressing the Down Arrow key from the 'Export' option, the focus is stuck on this option, and the keyboard navigation cannot move further down to any additional options in the menu. This issue occurs consistently across multiple pages and for multiple users, indicating a persistent accessibility barrier. As a result, keyboard and screen reader users cannot access the functionality.

      Expected Results

When navigating the meatballs menu with the Down Arrow key, users should be able to move focus through all available options in the menu, including those located below the Export option. The expected behavior is that focus should move seamlessly from Export to the next option below it (e.g., "CONVERT TO FOLDER," "ARCHIVE," or other menu actions), allowing keyboard-only users to access all functionalities. To achieve this, Modify the scripts to ensure that the aforemention component is fully accessible and operable with keyboard. The same behavior should be achievable by pressing the Up Arrow key to navigate back up the menu.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
