Issue Summary
The cursor occasionally flickers briefly before reverting to its previous position. As a result, when typing, the text appears where the cursor was before rather than at the new location. Often, you need to click two or three times, or even more, before the cursor reliably stays in the correct position.
Steps to Reproduce in a Table
- Create or find a page with a fabric editor and a table that has some content (text would be OK, but make sure the table has multiple rows and columns)
- Open a second window side-by-side to the page
- Select a cell on the table to place the cursor
- Head to the second window to select and copy some text
- Next, hover your mouse on a new cell in the table (you should see the mouse appear in the new cell)
- Right-click to paste the copied content.
- When you click into the new cell, the cursor should appear momentarily when hovering or clicking.
- It will then begin blinking in the original cell from Step 3 (this effect appears that the cursor is jumping locations)
Expected Results
The cursor should not need to be clicked multiple times.
Actual Results
There are instances when you need to click multiple times on a page.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
