Problem

There are limited display options for embedded databases, which restricts the ability to present data in a concise and user-friendly manner. Users without permissions on the database itself may face challenges in engaging with the content effectively. Additionally, when embedding the new content type - databases - into a page using the macro, redundant information is displayed, such as the title appearing twice.

Suggested Solution

Introduce a feature that provides more granular display options for embedded databases within a page. This could include:

• The ability to select and lock a specific view or filter of the database for display, preventing users from toggling between different views.
• An option to hide redundant elements such as duplicate titles.
• Options to display only the content or a specific view/filter from the database, similar to a table format, enhancing readability.
• Reintroduction of display options from the beta version that were removed during GA.
• Capability to customize the appearance of the database (e.g., hide/show headers, adjust font size, and color themes) to align with the page's design.

Why This Is Important

This feature is crucial because it enhances the readability and presentation of embedded databases, making it easier for users, especially those without direct database access, to engage with the content. By allowing control over which data views are shared, it helps maintain focus and ensures the data is presented in a meaningful way.

The enhanced customization options also ensure that the embedded databases are visually consistent with the rest of the content, improving user experience.
