Issue Summary
When adding a Dropbox PDF to a page in Confluence using Smart Links, there is no embed option in the macro display options.
Steps to Reproduce
- Copy the share link from a PDF on Dropbox and paste it onto the Confluence page.
- Alternatively, use the /Dropbox macro in Confluence and select a document from Dropbox
Expected Results
In the display options, there should be an option to Embed the file:
This example is taken from an image on Dropbox, which still offers an Embed option.
Actual Results
In the macro display options, only URL, Inline, or Card is available. There is no Embed option.
Workaround
There is currently no workaround to embed a Dropbox PDF directly to the page. Instead, attach the PDF directly, or use another document host, such as Google Drive.
