Current Behaviour

When using `<svg>` in a static content macro, Confluence is removing it before the macro is rendered in the page. Additionally, using `<img src="graphic.svg" />` will render; however, CSS variables (design tokens for theming) do not work. 
While we have a existing feature request to develop - Embedding of SVG, this broadly talks about Confluence in whole. We need to have a specific support for SVG for connect macros AND which allow for Atlassian design tokens to be used within to support theming.

Suggestion

This feature specifically addresses the need for support with Connect macros (and theming) due to the removal of <svg> tags and their descendants from the output.
