Issue Summary

Restoring an older Confluence Site Backup fails with an error, "Something went wrong. We're moving mountains to get it sorted. View our status page and subscribe for service updates." or "Exception occurred during import: Error importing site".

Steps to Reproduce

1. Settings > Import Site
2. Select a backup file using the old backup method, which will have the default filename structure of Confluence_export_<timestamp>.zip
3. Upload and import the file
4. Shortly after it may return the error "Something went wrong. We're moving mountains to get it sorted. View our status page and subscribe for service updates." or "Exception occurred during import: Error importing site".

Expected Results

The site backup/export file should be restored successfully.

Actual Results

The site restore fails and results in an error, "Something went wrong. We're moving mountains to get it sorted. View our status page and subscribe for service updates." or "Exception occurred during import: Error importing site".

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
