Problem
Users are using the Confluence for Slack App and linking a page are presented with the Page Preview options and to Connect to a Space (Confluence Slack integration).
When presented with message the users have the option to "Don't Ask Again". However, when the users select this option and are repeatedly spammed with the same modal every time a Confluence link is posted.
Environment
This issue affects slack environments using the Enterprise Grid.
Steps to Reproduce
- Share any confluence page URL in a slack channel or in a private conversation.
- Wait until you're prompted with some preview options from the confluence-slack app integration ('Connect to a space', 'Nothing', 'Don't ask again')
Expected Results
The confluence integrations should not ask again about page preview in confluence.
Actual Results
The confluence integration shows the same prompt every time an user posts an URL inside slack.
Workaround
No workaround is available at the moment. When available, it will be added to this case.
Notes
The issue is caused by incorrect (slack channel, user) IDs collected within the app's back-end, which failed to register user preferences correctly.
