Issue Summary
- When using the Jira issue details field in Confluence Databases, we do not have the option to select or show the comments from a Jira issue.
- This can be worked around by using Jira Automation and Custom fields.
- But it would be good to have this natively supported.
Current behavior
- No default option in Confluence Databases to show comments from a Jira issue.
Suggested behavior
- Add an option to show comments from a Jira issue, in Confluence Databases.
- Either all comments (if possible in the Databases table)
- Or just the latest comment
Workaround
- Create a new custom field in Jira, for example, "Latest comment", and apply/add it to the required projects/screens.
- Create a Jira automation, to trigger when comments are added, and to add the latest comment into this custom field.
- Test by adding a new comment into the Jira issue, and confirm that the comment is added into the custom field.
- In Confluence Databases, select and use this custom field.
