Issue Summary
Users have reported intermittent failures with Slack notifications for page creation events in Confluence spaces.
Despite proper configuration to receive notifications for "Add page" or "Adds a child page" actions, some page creations don't trigger the expected notifications in the linked Slack channel due to blocked webhooks.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to Channel Settings -> Slack Notifications -> Link to Slack Workspace/Channel.
- Enable notifications for 'Add page' or 'Adds a child page'.
- Create pages within the space and monitor the designated Slack channel for notifications.
Expected Results
Every page creation event within a space should consistently trigger a notification to the configured Slack channel, without any misses.
Actual Results
Notifications for page creation events are intermittently missed, with no visible/clear pattern to the failures.
Workaround
There is no known workaround for this behavior. When available, a workaround will be added here.
Investigations and efforts to address the root causes of these intermittent failures.
Notes
Although this issue does follow a recognizable pattern, occurring sporadically. Only the Atlassian support can identify those.
