Issue Summary

• Attempting to create Jira issues from highlighting text does not reliably create them.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select(highlight) any text on a Confluence page;
2. Click on the Create issue button;
3. Set the issue parameters(project, type, summary, description);
4. Click on the Create button;

Expected Results

• The Jira issue link should be reliably created every single time.

Actual Results

These are the behaviors noticed for this bug so far:

1. The Jira issue link is not added to the Confluence page, even though it was actually created on the Jira Software project.
2. Although the Jira issue link is added to the page, it remains in the Getting issue details... status indefinitely.
3. Despite the Jira issue link being added to the page, when editing the page, the Jira issue link is removed from the page.

Workaround

• Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
